# The best 888casino alternatives in Spain (2026) > 888casino has one of the biggest slot catalogues in our Spain top five, but its licensee has five DGOJ resolutions since 2021, its own pages disagree on payout times and support hours, and its parent, evoke, reports going-concern uncertainties ahead of a takeover by Bally's Intralot. These four DGOJ-licensed casinos each beat 888casino on something specific, from regulatory record to payout speed and support. - URL: https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/888casino-alternatives/ - Markdown version: https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/888casino-alternatives/index.html.md - Last updated: 2026-10-01 (re-checked when an operator changes its terms or a regulator or court acts) - Author: SafeBet.ai Research Team (SafeBet.ai) - Notice: Advertising. It lists most withdrawals at one to four hours, its live chat runs 24/7, and its RTP table covers 2,560 slot-type games, so slot choice is comparable. Its dedicated casino app is weaker (3.84 on iOS), and its welcome match (€10 minimum deposit) is paid as bonus funds with 30x wagering on 20 slots within 30 days. [bet365 Casino review](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/bet365-casino-review/) ### 2. Botemanía — Best for bingo fans (7.7/10) Botemanía has one DGOJ resolution since 2021, a €125,000 fine in 2023, and welcome rewards that are withdrawable once you've played through your first deposit: up to €25 plus 200 bonus spins worth €0.10 each, for a first deposit of at least €10 played through within 30 days (€100 or more for the maximum). Its apps are rated 4.57 on iOS and 4.61 on Google Play. Its catalogue is smaller and bingo-led, and card payouts take one to five business days. [Botemanía review](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/botemania-review/) ### 3. Betway Casino — Best casino app (7.3/10) Betway has a single DGOJ fine since 2021 (€10,000 in 2022) and the best-rated casino app in our top five, 4.70 from 3,327 iOS ratings. It takes Bizum, PayPal and Trustly. Its catalogue is smaller than 888's (more than 1,200 games, according to a January 2026 copy of its site), and we couldn't verify its welcome wagering, minimum withdrawal or support hours, so its welcome offer is subject to conditions on Betway's site. [Betway Casino review](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/betway-casino-review/) ### 4. Codere Casino — Best for fast payouts (7.1/10) Codere is the pick for quick, local payouts and phone support: it says instant bank-transfer withdrawals arrive in under two minutes at most banks and PayPal withdrawals within eight hours, you can use cash at Codere venues, and its phone line runs 24/7. Its RTP report covers 1,842 titles. Its DGOJ record is similar in size to 888's, six resolutions since 2021 (€530,500 imposed), and includes two cases, in 2021 and 2023, in which players registered in Spain's self-exclusion register were allowed to play. [Codere Casino review](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/codere-casino-review/) ## Other options - **PokerStars Casino:** Run by TSG Interactive Spain SA, PokerStars Casino has a large catalogue, with about 3,259 entries in its Spanish game list in May 2026, and it says e-wallet payouts take minutes. It misses our top five because it doesn't take Bizum and has six DGOJ resolutions since 2021 (€588,000 imposed), including a minor allowed to play in 2024. - **Casumo:** Run by Casumo Spain PLC, Casumo's only DGOJ case since 2021 is a written warning over advertising in 2023. It isn't in our top five because its Spanish app footprint is much smaller (461 iOS ratings), so we didn't research it in depth. ## When to stick with 888casino Stick with 888casino if slot choice and bonus terms matter most: it offers 2,000+ slots with 12 months of actual RTP published per slot, and its welcome match (€10 minimum deposit, code CAS150) is paid as bonus funds with 20x wagering within 90 days. Its casino app is rated 4.52 on iOS from 8,161 ratings, more Spanish ratings than any other casino-only app in our research. ## Comparison | # | Online casino | Score | DGOJ license | Games | Payments | Payout speed | Min. deposit | Apps | |---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---| | 2 | [888casino](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/888casino-review/) | 8.0/10 | Since June 2012 | 2,000+ slots, 9 live roulette tables | Bizum (deposits), PayPal, cards, Apple Pay | PayPal/e-wallets: up to 3 business days | €10 | iOS & Android | | 1 | [bet365 Casino](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/bet365-casino-review/) | 8.3/10 | Since June 2012 | 2,560 slot-type games, live roulette | Bizum, PayPal, cards, Apple/Google Pay | Listed at 1–4 hours for most methods | €5 (Bizum €10, PayPal €30) | iOS & Android (casino + main app) | | 3 | [Botemanía](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/botemania-review/) | 7.7/10 | Since June 2012 | Hundreds of slots, bingo, 12 live roulettes | Bizum, PayPal, cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay | Approval ≤24h, then PayPal ≤24h | €10 | iOS 4.57 · Android 4.61 | | 4 | [Betway Casino](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/betway-casino-review/) | 7.3/10 | Since June 2012 | 1,200+ games (archived copy, Jan 2026) | Bizum, PayPal, Trustly, cards, e-wallets | 24h processing, then up to 72h (Jan 2026) | €10 (archived copy, Jan 2026) | Casino app: iOS 4.70 · Android 4.44 | | 5 | [Codere Casino](https://safebet.ai/es/online-casinos/codere-casino-review/) | 7.1/10 | Since June 2012 | 1,842 titles in RTP report, live roulette | Bizum, PayPal, cards, instant transfer, cash | Instant transfer <2 min, PayPal ≤8h | €10 (€1 by instant transfer) | iOS (combined) 4.46 · Android casino 4.44 | ## Frequently asked questions ### What is the best alternative to 888casino in Spain?
