# DraftKings Casino review (2026)

> DraftKings Casino is the best choice if you want games you can't play elsewhere: its in-house studio produced 36% of its casino handle in 2025, and its jackpot network, shared with Golden Nugget, has paid what DraftKings calls the largest online jackpot in history, $22 million. It's live in five states, including Connecticut, and its welcome offer of up to 1,000 Flex Spins needs only $5 in wagers, with no rollover on winnings. The caveats are spins you must collect daily over 20 days, no credit card deposits since August 2025, and support that reviewers call hit-and-miss.

## What is DraftKings Casino?

DraftKings Casino is the online casino of DraftKings Inc., the Boston-based sports betting and gaming company listed on Nasdaq. It's live in five states and ranks #3 in [our ranking of the best US online casinos](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/).

DraftKings also owns two other casino brands, Golden Nugget Online Gaming and Jackpocket. It doesn't publish a national iGaming market share, but its iGaming revenue, which includes Golden Nugget and Ontario, rose 7.5% to $461.9 million in Q2 2026. State data put it among the leaders: it took 19.6% of New Jersey's brand-level internet gaming win in 2025, second to [FanDuel Casino](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/fanduel-casino-review/), 15.0% of Michigan's online casino gross receipts (third), and 50.7% of Connecticut's online casino win in August 2026.

## Is DraftKings Casino legal in the US?

Yes, in five states. DraftKings' SEC filings say that as of June 30, 2026 it offers online casino games in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. You must be 21 or older and physically in one of those states, which geolocation checks before you play.

| State | Regulator | License details |
|---|---|---|
| Connecticut | Department of Consumer Protection | License OGO.000003; partner of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe (Foxwoods) since October 2021 |
| Michigan | Michigan Gaming Control Board | Platform provider for the Bay Mills Indian Community; live since January 22, 2021 |
| New Jersey | Division of Gaming Enforcement | Listed under Resorts Casino Hotel's internet gaming permit |
| Pennsylvania | Gaming Control Board | Under Hollywood Casino at Penn National's certificate; live since May 2020 |
| West Virginia | West Virginia Lottery | License IGP 001, the earliest on the Lottery's list (interim license July 7, 2020) |

Connecticut has only two licensed online casinos: DraftKings and Mohegan Sun Casino, which FanDuel runs. DraftKings isn't available in Delaware or Rhode Island, and Maine, which legalized online casinos in January 2026, hadn't launched by September 30, 2026. Our guide to [where online casinos are legal](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/where-online-casinos-are-legal/) covers every state.

## DraftKings Casino games

Counts vary: DraftKings' App Store listing says "over 1000+" games, while BettingUSA counts more than 2,500; expect roughly 2,000 to 2,500 depending on your state.

What sets DraftKings apart is its in-house studio. According to its March 2026 Investor Day presentation, DraftKings-made games produced 36% of its total casino handle in 2025, when it released 26 new in-house titles, 15 of them slots.

- **In-house originals:** Rainforest Fortune, Beat Uncle Sam, Day Trader and DraftKings Rocket.
- **Exclusive tables:** Basketball Roulette, Football Blackjack and DraftKings-branded roulette and blackjack games with custom felts.
- **Live dealer:** Evolution tables plus DraftKings-exclusive live tables; Pokerfuse calls the live-dealer offer "best-in-class".
- **Jackpots:** the network DraftKings shares with Golden Nugget includes an opt-in Single-Level Jackpot ($0.10 per spin) and a Multi-Level Jackpot with Mega, Major, Minor and Mini tiers. DraftKings cites a $22 million payout as the largest online jackpot in history. Opt-ins cost extra on top of your spin.
- **Poker:** BettingUSA ranks DraftKings first for video poker, and its online poker has linked Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania since July 2026.

Most slots pay back about 85–98% over the long run; see our [RTP and house edge guide](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/rtp-and-house-edge/).

## DraftKings Casino bonus and promotions

At the time of writing (September 2026), DraftKings' welcome offer is **Wager $5, get up to 1,000 Flex Spins**, with no promo code needed. DraftKings' promo page couldn't be accessed for this review, so these terms come from the operator text reproduced by Pokerfuse (September 1, 2026) and from RotoWire (September 29, 2026):

- Opt in and wager at least $5 on casino games; craps and Electric Poker don't count, per RotoWire.
- Collect 50 Flex Spins on each daily login for 20 days: $0.50 spins for the first two days (100 spins), then $0.20 spins (900).
- Each day's spins are locked to the game you choose from 100+ Select Games and expire 24 hours after you choose it.
- There's no rollover: spin winnings go to your cash balance, according to RotoWire.
- The offer ends November 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The operator terms say "Physically present in MI/NJ/PA/WV only", while RotoWire also lists Connecticut, so check eligibility there before you sign up.

**Worked example.** The spins' face value is 100 × $0.50 + 900 × $0.20 = **$230**. If the Select Games pay back 96%, expected winnings are $230 × 0.96 = **$220.80**. With no rollover, the offer is worth roughly $220 on average; the only other cost is the house edge on your $5 qualifying wager, about 20 cents at 4%. The catch is effort: you need to log in on all 20 days to collect it. Our [casino bonus guide](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/casino-bonuses-explained/) and [EV calculator](https://safebet.ai/tools/ev-calculator/) show how to value any offer.

### Dynasty Rewards

DraftKings Dynasty Rewards, shared with Golden Nugget, pays Crowns that you spend in the Dynasty Store and Tier Credits that move you through five tiers: Bronze, Silver (5,000 credits), Gold (25,000), Diamond (90,000) and Onyx (175,000). Higher tiers boost Crown earnings by 10–40% and add perks up to a VIP host at Onyx. At the rates Pokerfuse reports, regular slots earn 1 Crown per $2 and 550 Crowns convert to $1 in DK Dollars, so $1,100 of regular slot play earns about $1.

## Deposits and withdrawals

DraftKings has a $5 minimum deposit and a $1 minimum withdrawal on most methods ($15 for a check by mail), according to RotoWire. Methods vary by state and include PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, debit cards, Trustly online banking, the DraftKings Play+ card, wire transfer, cash at a casino cage, and gift cards or cash at retail stores (deposits only). DraftKings stopped accepting credit card deposits on August 25, 2025, RotoWire reports.

| Method | Withdrawal time |
|---|---|
| Cash at casino cage | Instant |
| Debit card | Up to 24 hours |
| Apple Pay | 1 day |
| PayPal, Venmo | Up to 2 days |
| Wire transfer | Up to 2 days |
| Trustly online banking | 1–4 days |

Times are from RotoWire (September 29, 2026). Pokerfuse adds that most withdrawal requests are reviewed within two to three business days and that your first withdrawal may require ID verification.

## App and experience

As of September 30, 2026, the DraftKings Casino app was rated 4.7 out of 5 from 110,375 ratings on Apple's App Store and 4.6 from 41,319 ratings on Google Play. You can also play inside the DraftKings Sportsbook app: DraftKings says 62% of its casino handle comes from the casino built into it.

Reviewers are mixed on polish. Pokerfuse says the app sometimes "feels more like a sportsbook app that they later added a casino onto", and BettingUSA lists a "buggy mobile app" among its cons.

## Safety and customer support

DraftKings is licensed by the gaming regulator in each of its five states, which its annual report confirms. Its New Jersey penalties since 2023 include:

- **October 2023:** $7,500 for letting a self-excluded person open an online account and wager.
- **June 2024:** $100,000 for giving its partner casino inaccurate sports-wagering data, a sportsbook matter.

No DraftKings penalty appears in the New Jersey DGE's 2026 enforcement summaries posted so far. DraftKings is also defending lawsuits over past casino deposit-match promotions in federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania; its August 2026 quarterly filing says claims in both cases are proceeding. Its annual report also describes potential credential-stuffing attacks from November 2022, in which logins obtained elsewhere were used to access player accounts, so use a unique password.

DraftKings offers deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion, plus tools such as My Budget Builder, My Stat Sheet and an in-app Responsible Gaming Center. You can also join your state's self-exclusion program, such as Connecticut's gaming self-exclusion list. Our [safe online casinos guide](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/safe-online-casinos/) explains how to check a license.

For help, RotoWire lists 24/7 live chat, email and social media; BettingUSA says the chat tries automated answers first, calls support "hit-and-miss" and says replies usually come within a day. No phone line could be verified.

If gambling stops being fun, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), available 24/7. 1-800-GAMBLER, the number many state regulators require on gambling sites, also still operates, and Connecticut's helpline is 1-888-789-7777. Our [responsible gambling guide](https://safebet.ai/us/guides/responsible-gambling/) lists more support.

## Who is DraftKings Casino best for?

- **Players who want something different**: in-house slots and tables you won't find at other casinos.
- **Jackpot chasers**, given the network it shares with Golden Nugget.
- **Connecticut players**, who have only two licensed online casinos to choose from.
- **DraftKings Sportsbook users**, who can play casino games in the same app.
- **Casual players** who like a $5 entry point and spins with no rollover.

## Our verdict

DraftKings Casino earns its place in our top three with content nobody else has: in-house games that drew more than a third of its casino handle in 2025, a jackpot network with a record payout, and a spot in five states, including Connecticut. Its $5 welcome offer is also one of the easiest to value, since spin winnings carry no rollover.

It's held back by support that reviewers call hit-and-miss, rewards that are spent only in DraftKings' own store, and welcome terms you should double-check in your state. If those matter to you, see the [best DraftKings Casino alternatives](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/draftkings-casino-alternatives/) or compare all five in [our online casino ranking](https://safebet.ai/us/online-casinos/).
