What is bet365 Casino?

bet365 Casino is the online casino of bet365, a privately owned British gambling group founded in 2000. In Spain it runs at casino.bet365.es under licenses from Spain’s gambling regulator, the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, DGOJ), and it’s #1 in our ranking of the best online casinos in Spain.

bet365’s Spanish casino is run by Hillside España Leisure SA, a company established in Spain (tax ID A86340270) that the group’s accounts list as wholly owned. One account and balance cover bet365’s sports betting, casino and poker in Spain.

Is bet365 Casino legal in Spain?

Yes. Hillside España Leisure SA holds the DGOJ’s “Otros juegos” (other games) general license that casino games require, plus singular licenses for roulette, blackjack, slots and poker, on .es domains listed in the DGOJ register, including casino.bet365.es.

DGOJ sanctions record

As of October 1, 2026, the DGOJ lists two sanction resolutions against bet365’s Spanish licensees since 2021, both classed as serious (grave) and both about promotions:

• 2023 (ES/2023/017): a €10,000 fine (€6,000 after legal reductions) against Hillside España Leisure for giving bonuses to 17 players whose accounts were under 30 days old, under a rule in Royal Decree 958/2020 on gambling advertising that the Supreme Court annulled in 2024.
• 2022 (ES/2022/094): a written warning to the sports licensee over promotions on bet365.es.

That’s the joint-lightest record of the 12 casinos we researched, level with Betway’s single €10,000 fine, and neither case involved self-excluded players, minors or deposit limits. Larger operators have more players and more exposure, so we read every record in that light.

bet365 Casino games

bet365 doesn’t publish a game count, but its RTP table, required under Spain’s slot rules, listed 2,560 slot-type games on September 22, 2026, including video poker and video bingo. Its lobby lists 44 providers, among them Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Evolution, NetEnt and bet365’s in-house Hillside Games.

• Slots: Megaways and bonus-buy games, Spanish pub slots (“tragaperras de bar”) such as La Bandida 777, and jackpot networks including Age of the Gods and Jackpot King.
• Exclusives: “Solo en bet365” (only at bet365) titles such as Gates of bet365, plus in-house “Originals” such as Book of bet365.
• Live casino: mostly roulette from Evolution and Playtech, including Spanish-branded tables such as Ruleta Española bet365, plus game shows.
• Table games and poker: RNG roulette and blackjack variants, video poker, and poker on the iPoker network.

Spain’s blackjack rules have no live variant, and the DGOJ register shows a live-roulette authorization for bet365 but none for blackjack. A new “bet365 Blackjack VZN” table appears in the live lobby, but we couldn’t confirm whether it has a real dealer.

The table gives each game’s theoretical return and its actual return for each of the last six months. By our count the median theoretical RTP is 95.48%, but some pub-style slots start at 70%, so check a game’s information menu before you play.

bet365 Casino bonus and promotions

At the time of writing (October 2026), bet365’s casino welcome offer is a 100% deposit match up to €200 plus five €1 golden chips (“fichas doradas”). The key terms:

• Minimum deposit: €10, within 30 days of opening your account; paysafecard and Trustly Card deposits don’t qualify.
• Wagering: 30 times the bonus, on 20 selected slots such as Big Bass Bonanza and Book of Dead. Your deposit is played first, and only on those games.
• Time limit: 30 days from the qualifying deposit.
• Cash or bonus credit: the match is paid as bonus funds, forfeited if you withdraw before finishing the wagering. The golden chips work on RNG roulette and blackjack, must be accepted and used within 7 days each, and their winnings are withdrawable with no wagering.
• Other terms: a maximum bet of 10% of the bonus per round; only for new accounts opened after December 5, 2025; ends January 25, 2027.

Worked example. A €100 deposit gets a €100 bonus, so you’d need to bet €3,000 on the eligible slots within 30 days, with no round above €10. If those slots returned 96%, the expected cost of that play would be about €120, more than the bonus. Every casino game has a house edge, so a bonus won’t make you money on average.

Deposits and withdrawals

bet365 takes Bizum (Spain’s instant bank-payment app), PayPal, cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard and bank transfer. Deposits are instant except by bank transfer (2–10 working days), card deposits carry no fee, and its payment pages list no withdrawal fees.

bet365 says it tries to process card and bank-transfer withdrawals within two hours, though some, such as withdrawals to international debit cards, can take two to five working days.

Your identity must be verified before your first withdrawal: bet365’s terms say that until then you can deposit up to €150 but can’t withdraw. Like every licensed operator, bet365 caps deposits by default at €600 a day, €1,500 a week and €3,000 a month; you can lower these at once, but raising them means passing the DGOJ’s responsible-gambling questionnaire and waiting three days. App and experience

You can play in a browser, in the casino tab of the main bet365 app or in a separate casino app, and Spanish users rate the two apps very differently (as of October 1, 2026):

Google Play may include ratings from outside Spain, and the main app’s ratings also reflect its sportsbook. The lobby is in Spanish with a provider filter, and as at every licensed Spanish casino, you set a time and spending limit before each casino session.

• activity alerts at least once an hour, an activity statement and a budget calculator;
• time-outs from 24 hours to 30 days, or a custom or recurring period;
• self-exclusion for 6 months or 1, 2 or 5 years, from sports, casino or both, which can’t be reversed early.

Live chat runs 24/7 alongside a web form; bet365’s help pages say the chat is provided by an AI agent but don’t say how far human agents are involved. Its safer-gambling phone line, 900 752 118, also runs 24/7. Unresolved complaints can go to eCOGRA, an independent dispute-resolution service, or to the DGOJ.

Who is bet365 Casino best for?

• Players who put the regulatory record first: the joint-lightest DGOJ record we found.
• Quick, flexible banking: Bizum, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with most withdrawals listed at 1–4 hours.
• Slot players who check RTP: six months of actual returns for 2,560 slot-type games.
• Less suited to: fans of casino-only apps or loyalty schemes; 888casino’s casino app is rated 4.52 on iOS, and it runs a loyalty club.

Our verdict

bet365 Casino is our top pick for Spain because it pairs a light regulatory record, with only a written warning and a €10,000 fine since 2021, with quick, flexible banking, and its slot catalogue is large and unusually transparent.

The trade-offs are a weak dedicated casino app, no loyalty program and a welcome match paid as bonus funds that need 30x wagering on 20 slots within 30 days of a deposit of at least €10.
