Botemanía review 2026

What is Botemanía?

Botemanía is a Spanish online casino and bingo site run by Gamesys Spain SA, a company registered in Ceuta that has been licensed by Spain’s gambling regulator, the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, DGOJ), since June 2012. It ranks #3 in our ranking of the best online casinos in Spain, where we rate it best for bingo fans.

Bingo is its heritage: Gamesys Spain is one of only four operators in the DGOJ register with an online bingo license. Bally’s Corporation, which bought Gamesys in October 2021, lists Botemanía among its online bingo brands, and the site’s copyright line now names Bally’s Intralot, the Athens-listed company that took over Bally’s international online business in 2025. Bally’s filings don’t say explicitly whether the Spanish business is part of it.

Is Botemanía legal in Spain?

Yes. Gamesys Spain SA holds the DGOJ licenses Botemanía needs, and www.botemania.es is the only domain the DGOJ register lists for it. Spain’s Gambling Act (Ley 13/2011) requires licensed operators to use a .es domain, and you must be 18 or over to play.

Its record is short. Since 2021, the DGOJ’s register of sanction resolutions lists one case: in 2023 (ES/2023/071), a person registered in the RGIAJ (Registro General de Interdicciones de Acceso al Juego), Spain’s national self-exclusion register, played with real money. The DGOJ classed it as a “grave” (serious) infraction and fined Gamesys Spain €125,000, of which €75,000 was paid after the legal reductions. No “muy grave” (very serious) case was found.

Larger operators have more players and more exposure, so read records in context. Among the casinos we rank, bet365 Casino and Betway Casino have lighter records, with €10,000 in fines each since 2021. Our guide to whether online casinos are legal in Spain shows how to check a license.

Botemanía games

Botemanía’s catalog is built around bingo and slots, and its figures don’t agree: its pages say more than 200 slots and over 20 table games, while its lobby linked 415 slot pages on October 1, 2026, and its latest return report lists 902 games for March 2026.

• Bingo: Spanish bingo games such as Bingote, Rapibingo and Revientaburbujas, with linked jackpots. In-game chat rooms closed on May 14, 2026.
• Slots: Games Global, Roxor Gaming, Blueprint, NetEnt, IGT and Pragmatic Play, plus more than 20 progressive-jackpot games, some shared with sister site MONOPOLY Casino.
• Live casino: 12 live roulette tables from Evolution and Playtech, such as Ruleta Relámpago en Vivo and Casiopea Ruleta en vivo, which Botemanía says are played “en territorio español” (on Spanish territory).
• Table games: RNG roulette and blackjack, video poker, keno and 22 Slingo games. We found no live blackjack: Spain’s blackjack rules have no live variant, and the DGOJ register shows no live-blackjack authorization for any operator.

Botemanía also publishes each game’s realized average monthly return for the previous six months. In March 2026, for example, Starburst returned 95.89% and Blackjack Tradicional 96.97%. These are actual averages across all players, not theoretical return-to-player (RTP) rates, and they don’t predict a single session.

Botemanía bonus and promotions

At the time of writing (October 2026), Botemanía’s casino welcome offer gives new customers up to €25 plus 200 bonus spins for playing through their first deposit once. You must deposit at least €10 and stake the full amount on eligible games within 30 days; the bonus and spins expire 30 days after they’re credited, and winnings are withdrawable, with no further wagering stated in the terms. The reward depends on the deposit you play through:

Other conditions from Botemanía’s terms:

• Roulette and sports bets don’t count toward the play-through.
• Spins are worth €0.10 each, on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas 4.
• It’s one offer per customer and can’t be combined with the sports welcome offer, which has its own conditions.
• No maximum bet is stated.

Worked example. Deposit €100 and stake all of it on eligible slots within 30 days, and you get €25 plus 200 spins with a face value of €20 (200 × €0.10). Every bet still carries the game’s house edge, so you can lose part or all of the €100 while playing it through, and a bonus never changes the odds. Our casino bonus guide explains how to weigh conditions like these.

Existing customers get weekly opt-in promotions, such as cashback on net losses and Botepuntos loyalty-point offers, each subject to conditions on Botemanía’s site, and the VIP program, Plus, is invitation-only.

Deposits and withdrawals

Botemanía takes deposits from €10 by Bizum (Spain’s instant bank-payment app), PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paysafecard, and pays out from €10. It charges no deposit or withdrawal fees.

Botemanía says it approves withdrawals within 24 hours once your account is fully verified; until your documents are checked, you can deposit up to €150 but can’t withdraw. Player balances are held in a separate Spanish bank account, and after 24 months without transactions, a maintenance fee of €20 a month may apply.

Like every licensed operator, Botemanía caps deposits by default at €600 a day, €1,500 a week and €3,000 a month. You can lower these limits immediately; raising them requires passing the DGOJ’s responsible-gambling test. Our guide to casino payments in Spain compares methods and limits.

App and experience

Botemanía has one app for casino, bingo and sports betting. As of October 1, 2026, it was rated 4.57 out of 5 from 2,539 ratings on Apple’s Spanish App Store and 4.61 from 1,869 ratings on Google Play in Spain. Among the casinos we rank, only Betway Casino’s dedicated casino app (4.70) and bet365’s main sports-and-casino app (4.68) score higher on iOS.

Safety and customer support

Botemanía is licensed and supervised by the DGOJ, and its “Juego más seguro” (safer gambling) page, which licensed sites must link from their home page, lists these tools:

• Deposit limits, with the defaults above, and session limits: before each slots, bingo, roulette or blackjack session, you set a maximum time and spend.
• Time-out (“Descanso Temporal”) from 24 hours to four weeks, which can’t be canceled early.
• Self-exclusion (“Plántate”) for three or six months under its terms (its safer-gambling page also mentions an indefinite option), processed within 48 working hours.
• RGIAJ registration, explained with links to the DGOJ; it blocks you from every DGOJ-licensed site.

Botemanía’s contact page says live chat is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although another help article says chat runs “durante el horario de atención” (during service hours). Its phone line, 93 122 70 75, runs daily from 10:00 to 14:00 and doubles as its safer-gambling line, and email goes to ayuda@botemania.es.

If gambling stops being fun, FEJAR’s anonymous, confidential helpline is 900 200 225; our guide to gambling help in Spain lists more support.

Who is Botemanía best for?

• Bingo players who want Spanish bingo games from one of only four DGOJ bingo licensees, though the in-game chat rooms have closed.
• Players who dislike heavy wagering: the welcome reward is withdrawable once you’ve played a €10+ first deposit through within 30 days.
• Players who check returns, thanks to the six-month realized-return report.
• Less suited to live-casino fans or anyone who wants the biggest catalog: 888casino lists more than 2,000 games in its lobby.

Our verdict

Botemanía is our #3 online casino in Spain because it does the basics cleanly: a long license history, one DGOJ sanction since 2021, a well-rated app, documented payment rules and a welcome reward paid as withdrawable winnings once you’ve played a €10+ first deposit through within 30 days. It’s also the only casino in our ranking with a DGOJ bingo license.

Its limits are scale and service hours: a smaller catalog, 12 live roulette tables and four hours of phone support a day. If those matter more, compare the best Botemanía alternatives or see how all five compare in our full ranking of online casinos licensed in Spain.
