What is BetRivers Casino?

BetRivers Casino is the real-money online casino of Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a Chicago company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It is licensed in Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and it ranks #4 in our ranking of the best online casinos in the US, mainly because its bonuses carry a 1x playthrough.

RSI, founded in 2012, is affiliated with Rush Street Gaming, which runs the Rivers land-based casinos, and online casino made up 72% of its revenue in Q2 2026. Its annual report says bonuses players earn can be “banked” and used under a “1x wager playthrough requirement”.

It is a mid-sized brand, with 4.1% of New Jersey’s online casino win in January–August 2026, eighth among brands, according to NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement figures. In Michigan, the Little River Band license it runs was fourth, with 7.6% of gross receipts in January–July 2026 (our calculation from regulator data).

Is BetRivers Casino legal in the US?

Yes, in five states. BetRivers is licensed by each state’s gaming regulator, and you must be 21 or older and physically in one of those states to play.

Delaware works differently. Its online casinos belong to the state lottery, which chose RSI in 2023 through a competitive process as its sole operator of online gaming and sports betting. So the Delaware Park (delawarepark.betrivers.com), Bally’s Dover (ballycasino.betrivers.com) and Harrington (harrington.betrivers.com) online casinos are all BetRivers under racino branding. RSI replaced 888 around the turn of 2024 (sources differ on the month), and the three sites took in $135.9 million of net gaming revenue in the Lottery’s 2026 fiscal year.

BetRivers Casino games

Game counts vary by state and source. Casino Reports counted 1,400+ games in New Jersey and about 900 in Pennsylvania (June 2026), BettingUSA counted 1,737 in New Jersey but only 56 in Delaware (September 2026), and Action Network cites 3,000+ games from 30+ providers. Covers calls its slot selection smaller than competitors’.

• Slots and jackpots: Casino Reports lists 35+ progressive slots, including Divine Fortune and Mercy of the Gods, and a “Rush Jackpot” feature randomly gives players a bonus game.
• Own games: a few RSI titles, such as multi-bet blackjack with 21+3, Lucky Ladies and Lucky Lucky side bets.
• Live dealer: 20+ options, according to Action Network; Evolution tables reached Delaware in September 2024.
• Extras: daily slot tournaments, free bingo and multi-state poker (Delaware, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia).

BetRivers Casino bonus and promotions

BetRivers’ welcome offer refunds early losses instead of matching a deposit. In Michigan and New Jersey, Covers and Action Network reported in September 2026 that new players get 100% of their net casino losses from the first 24 hours back as bonus credit, up to $500, plus up to 500 bonus spins, with a 1x playthrough.

• Lossback: credited 72 hours after the 24-hour window closes, with 30 days to play it through once. RotoWire says baccarat and roulette losses don’t count.
• Spins: 50 a day for 10 days on Lion Link Zhen Chan and Wealth of the Dragon, each batch expiring after 24 hours.
• Deposit: $10 minimum. Action Network says no promo code is needed.
• Other states: Pennsylvania gets up to $250 plus 500 spins (a 1x deposit match per Covers, RotoWire and Casino Reports; lossback per Action Network), and West Virginia up to $500 lossback plus 250 spins at 1x, per Covers. We found no current Delaware offer.

BetRivers’ own terms couldn’t be checked, so confirm them in the app.

Worked example. Say you lose $300 in your first 24 hours. You get $300 of credit, and playing it through once on a 96% RTP slot costs about $12 on average, so it’s worth roughly $288: a partial refund of money you’ve already lost. Existing players join iRush Rewards automatically: every bet earns tier, loyalty and Bonus Store points, Bonus Store points buy bonuses and exclusive bonus games, and awarded bonuses can be banked and used at 1x. Covers lists ten tiers plus an invite-only Elite level (Action Network describes a different scale). Store points accrue from 1 per $4.17 wagered at 94% RTP to 1 per $25 at 99%, which by our arithmetic is one point per 25 cents the casino expects to win on any game. Deposits and withdrawals

The minimum deposit is $10, and reviewers list cards, online banking, PayPal, Venmo, Play+, PayNearMe and cash at the casino cage, with Play+ and PayPal the fastest reported ways to cash out.

Withdrawal times are from Action Network (September 2026); Casino Reports gives 2–5 business days for ACH, and Covers 1–5 days overall. BettingUSA and Casino Reports say BetRivers’ RushPay system approves 80% of withdrawal requests instantly and automatically. The minimum withdrawal is $10 per RotoWire or $20 per Casino Reports.

One caution: Action Network’s September 2026 review gave BetRivers a low payout-reliability score, citing documented complaints, an undisclosed policy on third-party payment accounts and a February 2026 complaint in Michigan.

App and experience

BetRivers puts its casino and sportsbook in one app, “BetRivers: Casino & Sportsbook”, rated 4.9 out of 5 from 50,103 ratings on Apple’s App Store and 4.7 from 20,669 ratings on Google Play as of September 30, 2026.

Action Network notes you can switch the casino off and keep the sportsbook, and that sign-up asks for photo ID plus a selfie. BettingUSA’s main criticism is software that can lag.

Safety and customer support

BetRivers’ regulatory record is light. New Jersey’s DGE penalized it four times from 2023 to 2025 over sportsbook matters ($2,000 to $10,000 each, including for accepting bets on prohibited events), but we found no New Jersey penalty against its online casino from January 2023 to mid-September 2026, and no Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board release through September 23, 2026 names RSI or BetRivers. Responsible gambling tools include deposit, spend and time limits, a cool-off of at least 72 hours, self-exclusion and access to state self-exclusion programs; Action Network says you set deposit and time limits at sign-up. RSI says it was the first US-based operator of its kind to earn RG Check iGaming accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council. In Delaware, self-exclusion is done in person at the Lottery office in Dover.
